I'm gonna watch Harry Potter later! Hope this one's good. I'm not a really big fan of Daniel Radcliffe but well, what draws me to the movies is the magic behind it. I mean, what person doesn't want to think that there's some sort of magic in the world?
People believe in God/s and miracles. People want to believe that there is fairness in the world and well, I guess the Harry Potter novels and many other non fiction books draw on that.
Whether the protagonists are vampires, wizards or other supernatural beings fighting evil, people bite into them because it offers an alternate world where each being has some sort of destiny or purpose. At least that's why I dive into media in that genre.
