Hell Week?!

I am dog tired and its only Wednesday! They are putting us through our paces in school. There are project deadlines, quizzes, interviews and tests sprinkled generously throughout my week, hence killing plans of ever having some fun. Plus, there is a bug making its way around the nasal passages of unsuspecting students. Sadly, we're all so stressed out that our immune systems have turned into mush, leaving us susceptible to even the most mundane viruses. I've been loading up on orange juice- vitamin C so as to avoid getting sicker on the fast approaching Exam week. I so want to see Jason! He's coming to Singapore! Whee! But I probably won't be able to watch his gig because tickets are like $103 for decent seats and I am super broke. Sigh. I hope I get to save up enough cash to go and see JASON MRAZ!! Then again, I'll probably only get to go to one concert so its either Jason now or Singfest later. Hmm... I think I need a job. I need a break too... and while I'm a

Pa's bday

My dad's birthday was on the 15 and so we had his party yesterday. Phew, it was a lot of work! To add to the stress, I lost my phone. I lost it somewhere inside the house so I wasn't in major panic mode, I couldn't call it because its battery had died. I eventually found it under my bed frame with a bunch of old posters. I so keep losing my phone! Its unhealthy. Anyways, about the party, I was like, the "entertainer" who got people to sing karaoke and stuff. I so pity the neighbours. They were helpless spectators. I swear, they probably hate us now because of all of the crazy noise we were making.

Procrastination

I want to be oblivious, it just seems better that way because once you know something, you can't just un -know it. Ignorance is Bliss . My friend is having some problems at home and I can't help but think that I'm so lucky. Sure, I have problems of my own, but I just can't help but want to help ease the pain. I mean, if I was going through some crisis, I'd like someone to guide me through it. I just wish my friend could open up and let me in. I could help carry the burden. On less serious things, I am pretty stressed, and quite sick too. Later, I'll be having a quiz on a topic I know nothing about, and a role play thing which I do not know a lot about. School is really getting on my nerves. Thank goodness Chinese new year is coming up, its going to give me 4 whole days off of school! :D I need to get back to revising.- Maybe revising isn't the right word. Its not "re"-vising because I've never even read through the thing or payed attention to

Rants

I am sick. I am going to see the doctor later, when the sun rises. If I wasn't sick, today would have been pretty good. The retail group, plus Jo went to Vivo and checked out Charles and Keith. We took notes and everything. The sales assistants' reactions to what we were doing wasn't exactly pleasant. Then again, I barely saw them smile. Anyways, we went to lunch at a restaurant which name escapes me at the moment and after abusing the bottomless drink policy of the store we ran off to the...PLAYGROUND at the sky garden. Whoots! Then after much childish playing we had some "bonding" talking about anything and everything under the sun. Someone was a bit of a party pooper*. When I finally got home, I tried to revise my BPharm ~ there's a quiz on Friday. The imperative word in the above sentence would be tried. I did. I failed miserably. I was procrastinating so instead of hitting the books, I spotted my sketch book lying on my bed, beside it was my hot pink came

Tattoos

Went to the last day of the 1st Singapore Tattoo show at the Expo and I have to say, for me at least, it was a visual feast. I so thought that I would stick out like a sore thumb, but I so didn't, thank got. There were total hardcore full body tatooed people there and there were people like me, there were mohawks and dreads and all sorts of people. The highlight of the event was meeting Chris Garver, from Miami Ink, he's an awesome 30-something artist and apparently a pretty tall guy. Okay, so Chee and I didn't really get to meet him in the real sense of the word, we were merely able to take a picture with him and shake hands. Oh and Chee and I both got posters. Whoo! It would have been nice though if I had been able to speak with him. I was starstruck! He asked for my name and signed on the poster. Shook hands and said nice to meet you. I am so boring you with the details. - Sorry. LOL, I was/am just so enthused! We had to queue for so long but I guess it was all worth it.
B pharm presentation was today. Stress much! P mic lab was a busy event, with Jessy being the "victim" of AL's show. He wanted to make an example of her, sigh. Big deal, eating in class, who doesn't do it?! Anyways, I thought it was kind of nice of the guys trying to talk AL into lessening Jessy's burden. Unfortunately so didn't succeed. Anyways, as for Captain's ball: If you hit me, I will retaliate, whether its in an offhand way or not. I played Captain's ball with the team and it was allright. We won one and lost one. Someone, and annoying beyotchy someone jostled me around and was all man ~ as in CAVEMAN on me. I got pissed. I was like all sarcastic and blah and getting in her face. Captain's ball is a non contact sport so why the jostling and the pushing and being so rude?! I treated her like a human being, why couldn't she just be one?! Anyways, I swear, if she wasn't sort of friends with Jocelyn then I so would have gone commando on

First week

The end of 2008 and the first days of 2009 was spent doing a lot of projects. It left me drained. Picture this, Monday was my flight back from the Philippines Tuesday was my first day of school and was spent trying to tie up loose ends. Wednesday was new years' eve and school ended pretty late. I got my hair cut and spent the evening with my cousin. On my way home, I got a really touching phone call from Mum. We went to church, walked around a little, to see if anyone will adopt us for the new year and finally, we decided to by McDonalds and go home. Good thing we got home a couple of minuites before midnight turned on all of the lights- so that 2009 will be bright, and had our own little celebration. I called my Dad and I almost got choked up about it. Thursday-new years' day, I got a visit from a friend and after she left, my BPharm groupmates and I tried to finish our project. Friday, no one was in the mood to go to school. I took the IPT test, finished BPharm, practiced cap
